Vintage-Minifon Recorder, Spy microphone watch, factory kit -fully-functional

Vintage Protona Minifon P-55 factory recording kit, fully functional, recorder and all accessories in good working condition. This is a 1958 original factory kit with leather case. Recorder with all of the original accessories are in this kit. This kit includes two very rare accessories, the Minifon microphone watch and the Minifon body harness which allows you to conceal the recorder and microphone under a coat or jacket to make secret recordings. This is a complete and original kit which includes the following:

These Minifon kits were used in the cold war by U.S., Russian, English, Israeli, Canadian, Germany and many other countries. They were used by the intelligent services, C.I.A., FBI, NSA, MI6, KGB, Stasi, Massad and many others. They were compact, easy to conceal and worked very well. They were a marvel of engineering at the time and everyone wanted one. Spies who used these kits had the latest in technology.
This is one of the nicest Minifon factory kits I have ever seen, excellent condition, better condition than most Minifon kits I have seen in any museum.
This kit works as well as it looks. I have cleaned, lubed, serviced and replaced all original belts with new ones. Recorder works good. I have also checked all accessories and all are in good working order. I have made test recordings using the table microphone, the standard hand microphone, the tie clip microphone and the watch microphone, all work well. The original battery will not hold a charge of course because it is  60 years old, but it is nice for display. To use this recorder you will need a factory AC adapter or new battery. There are people on line who make custom batteries for these old recorders.The original Minifon leather case has lots of shelf wear. The outside case bottom has some small spots of missing leather. The inside top has some water staining. The zipper does not work. The case has lots of vintage wear but over all pretty good condition for a 60 year old case.
